MATERIALS

• zinc pots,
• geranium flower,
• straw hats,
• cord rope,
• Needle,
• Thread,
• Hammer,
• Nail,
• Scissors.

MANUFACTURING

1. Make two holes with nails on either side of the top of the zinc pot. Cut the string to a length of about 50 cm and knot the ends in the holes.
2. Use scissors to cut a hole in the side of the straw hat so that the pot and geranium can be placed inside. Before cutting, apply some glue to the area you want to cut on the inside of the hat and let it dry. This will prevent the basket weave from fraying after cutting.
3. Place the zinc pot with the opening facing the hole in the straw hat and sew the pot to the hat where the holes in the pot are.
4. Then carefully place the geranium in the pot. Make sure the string is free so the hat can be hung with the geranium in it.
