Necessary materials
- 100g dark chocolate
- 4 egg whites
- Cocoa powder and extra chocolate for decorating
MANUFACTURING
- Melt the chocolate in a large bowl over a double boiler (by placing a bowl of chocolate chips in a pot of boiling water and stirring). Let it cool down.
- Beat the egg whites with a mixer until a stiff foam forms. First mix 1/3 of the egg whites with the melted chocolate. Then add the remaining egg white to the chocolate mixture. Divide the chocolate mixture among serving bowls and let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight.
- Using a vegetable peeler, cut off the chocolate piece you reserved. Decorate the mousse with cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
