PUMPKIN DESSERT WITH MOLASSES RECIPE
- 2 kilograms of pumpkin
- Half a glass of molasses
- 2.5 cups granulated sugar
- 1-2 cups coarsely ground walnuts
Peel the pumpkins, cut them into cubes and place them in a large steel pot. Make sure there are no overlaps. Then sprinkle the pumpkins with granulated sugar and let them rest for 2 hours.
After the pumpkins are watered, place the pot on the stove and cook over low heat with the lid closed for 20-25 minutes. Then drizzle molasses over it and let it cook for another 20-25 minutes. Once you remove the zucchini from the oven, allow it to cool.
If you wish, you can sprinkle the zucchini placed on the serving plate with walnuts.
PUMPKIN DESSERT RECIPE WITH TAHIN
- 1.5 kilos of peeled and sliced zucchini
- 1 jar of walnut crackers
- 3.5 cups granulated sugar
- 1 glass of tahini tea
Peel the pumpkins, cut them into 3-4 finger-thick slices and place them in a large pot. Sprinkle granulated sugar over the pumpkins, close the lid and let them sit overnight.
In the morning, place the watered pumpkins on the stove with the lid closed and let them cook over low heat for 40 minutes. Then check with a fork whether it is cooked or not. If the fork doesn’t sink easily, cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Pour the finished dessert from the pot into a bowl. Pour some water over it and let it cool. To serve, drizzle tahini over the cooled zucchini and sprinkle walnuts on top.
BAKED PUMPKIN DESSERT RECIPE
- 1 kg pumpkin (large slices)
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 2-3 cloves
Arrange the pumpkin slices on my baking sheet, sprinkle 3 cups sugar on top and let rest for at least 1 hour. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for half an hour. Covering the dessert with wax paper in the 20th minute will keep it from drying out.
PUMPKIN DESSERT RECIPE IN POT
- 1 kg peeled zucchini
- 2 cups granulated sugar (400 g)
- 1 glass of ground walnuts
Cut the zucchini into slices 3-4 cm apart and place them side by side in a large steel pot. Sprinkle sugar over the pumpkins. If your pot is narrow, you can top it with a layer of sugar and a layer of zucchini. Then let it rest for at least 4 hours so that the pumpkin waters and the sugar melts. The next day, cook the pot on a small stove for 50-55 minutes until softened.
When your dessert is ready, place it on a serving plate and drizzle with syrup. When serving, you can sprinkle walnuts on top.
